1. The club meets on the second Wednesday of each month. Oct Meeting at Maria's Italian / American Deli 22620 Lyons Ave. at Walnut Street, Newhall, CA 91321 (661) 259-6261 Owner: Maria & Bruno. Social Hour starts at 6:30 p.m. with greetings, dinner and visiting. The meeting begins at 7:15. Upcoming activities and dive trips are discussed as well as recently completed trips. We usually have a guest speaker with slides or video on various topics involving diving, equipment, and the ocean environment. We have had demonstrations on technical, cave, kayak, rebreathers, free diving, and local or foreign travel. At the end of each meeting the club raffles new dive equipment of all types, with a special "thirdly raffle" every three months. |
2. What: SCDC Meeting When: Wed. 8/11 Dinner 6:30 Meeting 7:30 Where: Maria's Deli on Lyons Ave in Newhall Agenda: Club members will bring photos and/or stories of their recent dive adventures. Our returning Fiji friends will share their photos and stories. Sunny and Barbara will show stills from our trip to Fiji May/Jun 2010. Richard can show his shark diving video from this same trip.
